Chris has been there and done that, having been fired and laid off, both more than once, and having made three major career changes in his lifetime. He will introduce the process that has proven effective for him and for many others in successfully navigating the career and job search landscape, and that can prove successful for you as well.
Now retired, Chris Hogg was a job-readiness instructor and employment counselor at Community Refugee & Immigration Services in Columbus, assisting newly-arrived refugees to find meaningful employment. Prior to that he worked in similar roles at the university level and in non-profit organizations. Since Chris was an officer in the US Army for eight years, he volunteers in a LinkedIn group providing advice and guidance to military personnel leaving active duty. and has recently begun volunteering as a job-search coach in a drug and alcohol recovery group.
