Your privacy is important to us. We adhere to the highest standards in gathering, using and safeguarding your information. We do not rent, sell, share or trade member or donor information to any third parties.
Information We Collect
Our website only serves as a source of information for website visitors, members, alumni and the general public. We do not gather personal information on our website. We save information in our database about members and alumni. The information we collect includes:
Phone Numbers – home and/or cell
Member status and dues status
We keep donor information in a secure file managed by the treasurer used for charitable reporting purposes only. We also keep responses to members of the public who request information sent to them about our organization and/or its program. This information is deleted on an annual basis.
The Way We Use Information
We use the information members provide when joining Career Transition Institute to inform them about organization business, upcoming events and to manage their ongoing membership obligation and participation. We use alumni information to apprise them of upcoming events, update them on what is going on in the organization and to occasionally request donations. We use guest registration information from our events to provide information to you which we think you may find of interest.
There are only two conditions under which we will provide personal information to third parties:
Public Recognition – when we publicly recognize and thank donors, members and other stakeholders for their generosity. If you prefer to remain anonymous, please advise us and we will honor your wishes.
As Required by Law – We will release information when we are required to comply with any applicable law or regulation.
Our Commitment to Data Security – We do not collect information online. We do not maintain any credit card information whatsoever.
How Can You Access or Correct Your Information
You always have the opportunity to inform us that you no longer wish to receive our emails. In this event, your email address will be immediately deleted from our list(s). Also, every Constant Contact message you receive from us includes instructions on how to update your profile and email as well as how to unsubscribe.
